We keep the presses rolling.

And 35 years¡¯ experience comes at no extra charge.

Printing technology has changed radically, leading to ever larger, ever heavier presses. And in many cases, the equipment outgrows the building. SCHOLPP has been helping customers to solve this problem for over 35 years. In the early 1970s, we developed our first gantry crane for the printing industry, laying the foundation for SCHOLPP. This is now the company¡¯s largest unit, specialising in major relocation and rigging projects, often of an international nature.

Today, we are a strategic partner to many players in the printing industry. We offer a variety of specialist solutions and skills for press manufacturers, printers, and publishers. We have the knowledge and resources to transport your machines, whether small jobbers or large rotary presses, to their destination with care, and to install them on your behalf.

We begin planning the project even before the contract has been delivered to the printing press manufacturer. And while the machine is being dismantled for delivery, the team from SCHOLPP is already co-ordinating re-assembly with the manufacturer. And at the customer site, we unload it, move it into the building, perform alignment and millwrighting, and install the electronics. SCHOLPP then hands the machine over to the manufacturer, whose experts, in turn, commission the equipment, and make official delivery to the end-customer.

What¡¯s more, SCHOLPP will go to any lengths to avoid disruption to your production, for example by delivering and installing your press at any time of the day or night.

Our flexibility gives you flexibility£as a manufacturer or user of printing equipment. What¡¯s more, our ability to relocate large items increases process efficiency. And if you¡¯re a little understaffed, SCHOLPP can help out, with skilled manpower.
